The tournament will be played in round robin format
Both teams play 10–10 overs in the match, with a time schedule of 90 minutes. The tournament will be held in round-robin format followed by semi-finals and finals. In a match, the bowler will get only 2 overs bowling. There will be a three-over power play with two fielders remaining outside the 30 yard circle. A maximum of 5 players will be allowed to remain outside the outside circle after three overs. On the first day 3 matches will be played (Abu Dhabi T10 League 2021 Schedule).
These 8 teams will participate
Like last season, this time also eight teams are divided into two groups of 4-4. Defending champions Maratha Arabians are placed in Group A along with Bangla Tiger, Delhi Bulls and Northern Warriors. At the same time, last year’s runner-up Deccan Gladiators got a place in Group B along with Clanders, Team Abu Dhabi and Pune Devils.
This is the format of the tournament
All eight teams will play 3 matches in the league group before reaching the Superleague. The Superleague will be played on 1 February. A total of 12 matches will be played on the group stage, while the Super League will also have the same number of matches. Playoff matches will be held from February 5. The top two teams will face face-to-face in the qualifiers to make it to the finals, while the teams at number three and four will clash in Eliminator 1 on February 5. After this, the losing team in the qualifier will face the winner of Eliminator 1 to cut the final ticket in Eliminator 2. This match will also be played on 5 February.
