Germany’s leading automaker Audi today launched its famous S5 Sportback luxury sedan car in the Indian market. Adorned with an attractive sporty look and strong engine capacity, the car has been initially priced at Rs 79.06 lakh (ex-showroom, Pan India). This car will fill the gap between the company’s A5 sedan and performance model RS5 and will compete with the BMW M340i in the market with strong features.
Actually, this is the updated version of the S5 Sportback introduced in the Indian market in the year 2017. The company has made many major changes from the exterior to the interior of this car, which makes it much better than the previous model. The car gets new front bumpers, new frame grille and matrix LED headlamps and daytime running lights. At the same time, the rear of the car has an attractive sporty bumper with new taillights. The car is offered in a total of 8 colors with 19-inch alloy wheels, including Turbo Blue, Daytona Gray and Tango Red.
Interior: The company has also updated the interior of the new S5 Sportback. Making the biggest changes to the cabin, it has a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system in place of the earlier MMI display. In addition, a 12.3-inch virtual cockpit digital instrument cluster is also included. Leather upholstery, panoramic sunroof, powered front seat, ambient lighting, three zone climate control, head up display and 19 speakers have been given.
Engine Capacity: As far as the engine is concerned, this car comes with a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine in the global market. But in the Indian model, the company has given a 3.0-liter capacity turbo petrol V6 engine that generates powerful power of 354hp and torque of 500Nm. Equipped with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, this car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 4.8 seconds. The top speed of this car is 250 km / h, which is limited.
The Audi S5 Sportback also offers different driving modes, including Comfort, Dynamic, Individual and Auto. Drivers can choose any of these modes as per their convenience. The car has been launched as the Complete Built Unit (CBU), which will take on the likes of BMW M340i and Mercedes-AMG C 43 in the Indian market.
