India have fallen to two wickets
By the end of the day’s play, Team India had stepped up and lost the wickets of both openers by 98 runs. Captain Ajinkya Rahane (4) and Cheteshwar Pujara (9) were at the crease during the stumps. On the last day of the match, India will have to score 309 runs in almost 90 overs while Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant are injured. Obviously Rahane-Pujara will be on the verge and they have to enter a marathon partnership.

Chasing the target, Rohit Sharma was on 13, when the on-field umpire gave him LBW out of Josh Hazlewood. However, on taking DRS, the umpire had to change his decision. Gill hit a couple of fours in Pat Cummins’ over after a slow start and then completed the half-century of the team’s runs in the 19th over with a four over Cameron Green. However, when it seemed that both the openers were frozen, Gill handed a catch to wicketkeeper Tim Paine off Hazelwood. Leaking catches, missed opportunities
In the second innings, India’s fielding was extremely poor. Marnus Labuschen (73 runs) did not add to his score of 47 on the third day as Hanuma Vihari dropped his catch off Bumrah at square leg. Rohit and Rahane also leaked catches, which were taken advantage of by Steve Smith (81 runs) and Green (84) and brought the team to a strong score of 312 for six.
