Demand for electric vehicles of the country is increasing rapidly, especially people are showing more interest in the two-wheeler segment. Earlier last year, two giants Bajaj Auto and TVS Motors launched their electric scooters Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube in the market. In terms of sales, once again Bajaj Chetak’s pace has slowed down compared to TVS iCube.
According to sales reports, in the last February, Bajaj Auto has sold a total of 150 units of Chetak electric scooter. Which is 50% higher than the February month of the previous year. In February last year, the company sold just 100 units of it. At the same time, TVS Motors has recorded sales of a total of 203 units of iQube in the month of February. In the same month of last year, the company sold only 50 units.
