Sunny had earlier filed for anticipatory bail in the Kerala High Court. After which the court has ordered the Crime Branch not to arrest Sunny. This case of financial fraud was filed against Sunny on behalf of an event company.
Sunny Leone had said in the petition filed for bail that she is innocent, she also said to fully cooperate in the legal investigation. Along with this, he also claimed that no criminality case is made against him. At the same time, after this petition, he got relief from the court and the arrest has also been stayed.

Explain that the event company has alleged that Sunny Leone had promised to attend a Valentine’s Day event organized by the company in 2019, for which about 29 lakh rupees were also taken as fees. Even after getting the fees, she did not come to the event. At the same time, Sunny was also questioned by the officials of Kochi Crime Branch in Thiruvananthapuram.
It was told in media reports that it was only during the interrogation that Sunny came to know that he had been booked under sections 406 and 420 of IPC and other sections. It is also being told that in the fraud case, the complainant has demanded Rs 2 crore from Sunny Leone as compensation.
