BMW Motorrad India today launched its new powerful bike R18 Classic First Edition in the market. The company is bringing this bike to India through the Complete Built Unit (CBU) route. Adorned with a very attractive look and strong engine capacity, the starting price of this bike has been fixed at Rs 24 lakh (ex-showroom). GST is included in its price.

Let us know that, the company introduced the BMW R18 last year, now another bike R 18 Classic has been included in this range. This is a touring bike, which is very suitable for long drive. While launching this bike in the market, BMW Group India President Vikram Pava said, “BMW Motord has made a banging entry in the cruiser segment with the BMW R 18. After the success and popularity of BMW’s first cruiser in India, we now offer the BMW R 18 Classic as an iconic character. “

How is the new bike: The BMW R 18 Classic is decorated by the company with an attractive look as well as advanced features. It has a larger windscreen, passenger seat, saddle bag, LED additional headlights, 16-inch front wheel and larger engine. In this bike, the company has used an engine of 1,802 cc capacity which generates power of 91 bhp and torque of 158 Nm.

Powerful than SUV: In general, this much power gives compact SUVs present in the Indian market. In the recently launched Nissan Magnite, the company uses a 1.0-liter capacity engine, which generates only 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque.
There are a few other SUVs with almost the same power output.

Apart from this, anti-hopping clutch, rear wheel hoop, 6 speed transmission gearbox as well as reverse gear have also been given in this bike. This bike also offers three different driving modes, which include rain, roll and rock. As a safety feature, features like automatic stability control, dynamic engine brake control, hill start system, keyless ignition, electronic cruise control have been given as standard in this bike.

Warranty: With the new BMW R 18 Classic, the company is also offering a total warranty of 3 years and unlimited kilometers. Apart from this, this bike comes in the market with 24×7 365 days road side assistance package. This bike is designed by the company on a double cradle frame and has a tiered drop style fuel tank.
