
The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki recently announced an increase in the price of its vehicles. This new announcement of the company included one of the best selling cars Swift to CNG vehicles. According to the information, the company has increased their price according to different variants of Swift, which is up to a maximum of Rs 15,000. So let’s know how much the price of the variants of Maruti Swift has been increased.
According to media reports, the Zxi Plus AMT dual-tone variant of Swift has received the lowest increase of Rs 1,000, while the price of the Lxi variant has been increased by up to Rs 8,000. Apart from this, all other variants have already become expensive by Rs 15,000. The company says that the prices of vehicles have been increased due to increase in input cost.

This is the third time the price of cars has been increased by Maruti Suzuki this year. Earlier in January 2021, the company had increased the prices by up to Rs 34,000 for select models, and then in the month of April as well, citing increase in input cost. Let us tell you that recently the company launched the new facelift model of Maruti Swift.
The company has used a new powerful K12N petrol engine of 1.2 liters capacity in it. This engine generates 90bhp power and 113Nm torque. The new engine also gets a piston cooling jet, higher compression ratio and a cooled EGR system. The company claims that the manual variant of this car gives a mileage of 23.20 kmpl and the AGS transmission variant gives a mileage of 23.76 kmpl, which is more than the previous model.
