The company has also started booking this upcoming scooter through its official website. Which customers can book for just Rs 499. Recently, the company’s chairman and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal had tweeted a poll about the colors of this scooter. Now the company has officially announced that this scooter will be available for sale in the market in a total of 10 colors.
However, the actual names of all these colors will be disclosed by the company at the time of the launch of the scooter. But as per the picture shared by the company, this scooter will be available in colors like Red, Yellow, Blue, Pink, Black, White, Metallic Grey, Silver Grey, Glossy Black. Scooters of some of these colors were also recently spotted during testing.
Even before the launch, this upcoming electric scooter of Ola has created a buzz in the market. Within 24 hours of the start of booking, the company has registered bookings for more than 1 lakh units. Now news is coming that the company will do home delivery of this electric scooter across the country. According to media reports, the Ola electric scooters will be home delivered to buyers across India without the traditional dealership network.
However, the driving range and other technical aspects of this scooter are yet to be officially announced. But experts believe that this electric scooter will be charged from zero to 50% in just 18 minutes, so that it can travel up to 75 kilometers. It is expected to have a range of around 150 km on a full charge. In this, the company will provide features like full-LED lighting, fast charging, front disc brake.
Ola recently registered a trademark for the name ‘Series S, S1 and S1 Pro’, which points to possible names and variants of the electric scooter. It is believed that the Series S will be the name of the Ola electric scooter range and the first scooter to be launched will have two variants, which could include the S1 and S1 Pro.
