At the same time, Tata Motors has sold a total of 6980 units of Altroz ​​during this period, which is 92% more than 3636 in July last year. Hyundai has sold only 6518 units of the i20 Elite, which is just 3 percent more than the same month last year.

This premium hatchback car is available in the market with two petrol engines. Its 1.2-litre petrol engine (83PS/113Nm) comes mated to a 5-speed manual and CVT gearbox. The other 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine (90PS/113Nm) is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. Mild hybrid technology has been used in this variant which improves its mileage.

The company claims that its manual variant gives a mileage of 21.01 kmpl, CVT variant 19.56 kmpl and mild hybrid variant 23.87 kmpl.
