Another new player is going to enter the segment of electric scooters in the Indian market. The country’s premier start-up EeVe India introduced two of its scooters Ahava and Atreo in the market last year, priced at Rs 55,900 and Rs 64,900 respectively. Now the company is preparing to launch its electric scooter Soul in the domestic market.
According to the report published in Car and Bike, EeVe India has received approval from the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) for its new upcoming electric scooter Soul. It will be a high speed electric scooter, which will provide strong power as well as better driving range. The company’s co-founder and director, Harsh Didwaniya, told the media that the new scooter will open new avenues in the high-speed electric two-wheeler segment.

The company says that all approvals have been received by the Automotive Research Association of India, but due to the second wave of the current Corona epidemic, components supply is facing some difficulties. Once the supply chain is fixed between the vendors, we hope that we will be able to launch this scooter in the market in the coming June.
Speed and driving range: According to the report, the new EeVe Soul will have a top speed of 70 kilometers per hour and this scooter will give a driving range of up to 130 kilometers in a single charge. Currently, about 45 local components are being used in the company’s models, the company plans to soon increase it to 100 percent. The picture given above is symbolic.
