
The mini electric car of China’s car maker company Wuling HongGuang was a successful product. It was the second best selling electric vehicle in the year 2020 with 119,255 units. Now the company is bringing a new electric car, which will be named Nano EV. According to reports, this will not only be the smallest electric car but can also be the cheapest electric car in the world.

According to the report of CarNewsChina, the price of Nano EV will not exceed 20 thousand yuan (about Rs 2.30 lakh). This means that the Nano EV could actually cost less than the Maruti Alto. What’s more, the Nano EV will certainly be cheaper than the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV, the best-selling compact electric car in China.

Will be smaller than Tata Nano
The company introduced this car at the 2021 Tianjin International Auto Show. Made according to urban use, only two seats have been given in this car. The turning radius of the car is less than 4 metres. In terms of dimensions, the Nano EV measures 2,497mm in length, 1,526mm in width and 1,616mm in height. That is, it will be smaller than Tata Nano in size. The length of the Tata Nano is more than 3 meters. It will get a wheelbase of 1,600mm.

Will get a range of 300Km
The top speed of the car is 100 kmph. The Nano EV is powered by an IP67-certified 28 kWh lithium-ion battery. This small electric car gets a range of 305 km on a single charge. According to the company, it takes 13.5 hours to fully charge through the regular 220-volt socket. At the same time, it can be charged in just 4.5 hours through a 6.6 kW AC charger. The Nano EV gets a reversing camera, tire pressure monitoring system, AC, keyless entry system, LED headlights and a 7-inch digital screen.
