The country’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company is preparing to launch a new bike by updating its vehicle portfolio in the domestic market. The company has also recently released a teaser video of this new upcoming bike, according to which this bike will be presented on 16 September.
It is being claimed in media reports that it will be a 125cc bike, which can be named Rider, Retron or Fiero. Although the company has not yet disclosed its name and the teaser video has got a slight glimpse of this bike. In this teaser, the company has focused on the letter ‘R’, so it is expected that it can be named either Rider or Retron.
However, for this we will have to wait for the official launch of this bike. The company has given this bike a very attractive look and sporty design. Its headlight seems inspired by the Apache series, gets triple LED beam, C-shaped daytime running lights, fully digital instrument cluster, sleek LED turn signals etc.
Looking at the teaser, it is known that the company has given boomerang-shaped LED taillamps, wide handlebar setup, vibrant body color, black fuel tank extension, TVS 3D horse logo, single grab rail, split seat, sculpted side panels, single channel. Anti lock braking system (ABS), alloy wheels etc. have been given.
As far as the engine is concerned, this bike will have a fuel injected single cylinder engine with a capacity of 125cc. Which generates maximum power of 12Ps and torque of 11Nm. This engine comes with a 5 speed gearbox. Although no information can be given about the price of this bike right now, but it is believed that this bike will be economical in the segment.
