Yes, Yezdi, who has once again shown her skills in the eighties, is ready to slog on the country’s road. After Classic Legends Jawa, Yezdi is now preparing to launch the brand in India. Earlier this year, a scrambled bike from the company was spotted, which could possibly be introduced as the Roadking. Now another adventure tourer model has been spotted testing.

Let us tell you that Mahindra & Mahindra-owned Classic Legends had filed a trademark in the name of Roadking in the country a few months back. It is believed that this name will be used for the Scrambler model. At the same time, an adventure tourer model will be introduced by the company as the second model in India.

In the recent times, the demand for adventure-style bikes in the Indian market has seen a great increase. Along with this, retro-style is also becoming very popular. From Hero MotoCorp to Royal Enfield, many brands have introduced their models in this segment. In such a situation, this upcoming adventure motorcycle of Yezdi can be successful in attracting the youth.

YouTube channel Suyog (SUYOG) has uploaded the video of this new bike. While it looks like a prototype model, the frame and handlebars of this bike do not look like the production ready model as of now. It is expected that premium features can be included in it along with digital instrument cluster.

However, no official announcement has been made about its engine and powertrain yet. But it is believed that in this the company can use a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine of 293cc capacity. Which is also seen in Jawa’s bikes. This engine generates 27.33 PS of power and 27.02 Nm of torque. Apart from this, another engine is being seen as an option, a 334cc engine can also be given in it. Both these engines come with 6 speed gearbox.

However, it is yet to be officially announced. After coming in the market, both these bikes will mainly compete with Royal Enfield. This scrambler model, which is being named as Roadking, will compete with Royal Enfield’s upcoming model Scram 411 and adventure model Royal Enfield Himalayan.
