The country’s leading electric two-wheeler company Hero Electric has partnered with Log 9 Materials. Log 9 Materials is a Bengaluru based startup company. Hero Electric has partnered for Log 9 Instacharging RapidX battery packs, which will be used in all electric vehicles of the company. It is being claimed that due to the Log9 battery, Hero Electric Scooters will be fully charged in 15 minutes.

What’s special about Log9 Battery
Log9 InstaCharging Battery Packs come with the technology that they support fast charging, do not drain fast and provide long battery life. Log9’s RapidX batteries can be used in temperatures ranging from -30° to 60°C. In addition, they have a life of more than 10 years. These batteries are also equipped with safety features that ensure that they do not catch fire and remain safe in extreme temperatures.

The all-electric two-wheelers in Hero Electric’s portfolio offer an easily removable battery, allowing customers to charge their portable batteries in their office or apartment. Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric, said, “We will now introduce bikes with Log 9 batteries, which can be charged rapidly. The battery will be fully charged by the time the driver drinks a cup of tea.”

These batteries will be made available in the market through direct sale and battery-as-a-service (BASS) business model. Commercial fleet operators will benefit from the BASS business model due to very low monthly interest rates.
