The country’s popular electric two-wheeler company Hero Electric has introduced cruise control feature in its Optima HX electric scooter. Through this feature, it will now become more comfortable for the rider to ride Hero’s electric scooter. Actually, after activating this feature, your scooter will continue to run at a fixed speed. You can decide this speed yourself.

Once activated, the upgraded speedometer will see a new cruise control feature. The feature will be automatically deactivated once the brake is pressed or the throttle is pressed. This type of feature was commonly seen in vehicles. It is quite interesting to get this feature in an electric scooter. The Hero Electric Optima HX is now available at a price of Rs 55,580 (ex-showroom, revised FAME II subsidy) across the company’s dealerships.

Range of more than 80KM
Hero Optima HX electric scooter comes with 1200W electric motor and 51.2V/30Ah portable battery. The company claims that on a full charge, this scooter offers a range of up to 82 km. It takes 5 hours for the battery to be fully charged. The top speed of the scooter is 42kmph.

Such are the features
The electric scooter gets features like apron-mounted turn indicators, a USB port, a digital instrument console, 12-inch alloy wheels, a remote lock, an LED headlight and an anti-theft alarm. It also gets a step-up seat and single-piece pillion grab rail.
