Honda Jazz hatchback car is going to be discontinued in Malaysian market. Replacing it, the company has brought a new Honda City Hatchback. What will be special in Honda City hatchback
Honda has teased the upcoming City hatchback in Malaysia, which will be offered in two trims. In its standard variant, a 1.0-litre engine can be given with a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine will be able to generate 120hp at 5,500 rpm and 173 Nm of peak torque at 4,500 rpm. It meets Euro 5 standards and has a CO2 emission level of only 100 grams per kilometer.

While the RS variant will get a 1.0-litre DOHC VTEC turbo petrol engine with a CVT gearbox. This engine is capable of producing 110 HP of power and 173 Nm of peak torque. It will be longer and wider than the Jazz model. The new City hatchback will measure 4,345mm in length, 1,488mm in height and 1,748mm in width. Its wheelbase is going to stay at 2,589mm like its sedan model.

Talking about the features, the top-spec RS variant gets LED headlamps, LED DRLs and updated fog lamps. The side profile gets black ORVMs and 16-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, new tail-lamps and black rear bumpers have been given. Talking about the interiors, the RS variant of the City Hatch gets an all-black interior theme. Red stitching has been used on the upholstery for sporty contrast. It can get an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
