Japan’s auto company Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) has shut down its production unit in Greater Noida. It is believed that due to the challenging environment of competition and business, the company has taken this decision. Let us know that Harley Davidson closed its plant in Haryana a few weeks ago.
However, the company has not confirmed this news yet. According to TOI’s report, production has been stopped on 150 acres of land in Greater Noida, as well as those who were working in this unit there have been removed from there. According to TOI sources, Honda will now relocate its production plant in Greater Noida to undertake R&D set-up, corporate office and spare parts operation. Also, the work like cell, finance, marketing, sales, PR and HR will be done from this place right now.
