Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been ruling the compact sedan segment for a long time. However, in August 2021, Honda Amaze has overtaken the popular sedan of Maruti Suzuki. 79% increase in sales
Amaze has sold 6,591 units in August 2021, which is 79 per cent more than in August last year. In August 2020, 3,684 units of Honda Amaze were purchased. Talking about Maruti Suzuki Dzire, 5,714 units of this sedan have been purchased in August 2021. Its sales have declined by 58 percent. It sold 13,629 units in August last year.

Engine and Transmission
The new Honda Amaze comes in both petrol and diesel engine options. It has a 1.2 liter petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engine. The petrol engine generates 90PS of power and 110Nm of torque. At the same time, the diesel engine generates 100PS of power and 200Nm of torque. Its petrol model gives a mileage of 18 km and diesel model up to 24 kmpl.

Such are the features
The facelifted sedan gets 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with auto-LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps and tail lamps. It gets features like 7-inch touchscreen system, cruise control and paddle shifters (CVT only). For safety, it has been provided with dual front airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors and rear parking sensors. It competes with vehicles like Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor, Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
