According to the sales report released by the company, the company has registered a growth of nearly 24 percent in sales in the domestic market in the last January. According to the report by Hyundai Motor India, the company has sold a total of 52,005 vehicles in the domestic market in January, which is 23.8 percent higher than the January month of the previous year. In January last year, the company sold a total of 42,002 units of vehicles. Although the company’s export market has suffered a bit of a setback, the company has exported a total of 8,100 units of vehicles during this period, which was 10,000 units in the month of January last year.

If we combine the sales figures of these two regions together, the company has sold a total of 60,105 units of vehicles in the month of January, which was 52,002 units in January last year. The company recently introduced some new models in the market, which has helped to improve its sales.
On March 18 last year, the company launched the next generation of its famous SUV Hyundai Creta in the market and i20 facelift in November. However, a nationwide lockdown was announced just days after Creta came on the market. But the company’s online sales policy and several useful schemes handled its sales.

- Hyundai i20 – 8,505
- Hyundai Venue– 11,779
- Hyundai Grand i10 Nios – 10,865
Last January, the company sold a total of 12,284 units of Hyundai Creta, while in December, the company sold 10,592 units. The company sold the most of the Creta in the month of October last year, during which the company recorded sales of 14,023 units of this SUV as compared to 12,017 units in November 2020. On the other hand, Hyundai Venue has also performed better and in the month of January, the company has sold 11,779 units of this SUV.
