Hyundai Cars India today introduced the i20 N Line, the first car from its ‘N’ Performance brand. This is the first car of the N Line model from the company, the company will also introduce other models under this brand in the near future. The booking of this car, adorned with a very attractive sporty look and strong engine capacity, has also been started.
Interested customers can book this car through the company’s official website and dealership by paying an amount of Rs 25,000. According to the information, this car has started reaching the dealership of the company. The company has given a sporty look and design from the exterior to the interior of this car, which makes it different from the regular model.
How is the exterior and design of the car:
A major change in the new Hyundai i20 N Line is seen in its exterior. The company has made some cosmetic changes in its exterior. From the front, it gets a sportier dual-tone front bumper with deep-set fog lamp housings and sporty red accents. The car gets a sportier looking grille with a ‘checkered flag’ inspired design and the N-Line logo.
The 16-inch alloy wheel given in this car gives a better look to its side profile. It also gets a side sill garnish with a red insert. Even the front brake calipers are finished in red colour. At the rear, the i20 N line gets a sportier bumper with a diffuser and twin-exhaust pipes, a tail gate spoiler along the side wings and a dark chrome garnish connecting the two tail lamps.
Color and paint scheme:
The car is available with a total of 4 monotone color options which include Thunder Blue (New and Exclusive), Fairy Red, Titan Gray and Polar White. There are also two dual-tone color options which include Thunder Blue with Phantom Black roof and Fairy Red color with Phantom Black roof.
How is the interior of the car:
The dashboard of the new i20 N Line is very similar to the standard model. However, the all-black interior gets decorated with red highlights and red ambient lighting. It gets a checkered flag design with ‘N’ logo badging on the leather, sporty metal pedals, a bespoke three-spoke steering wheel and an N-branded leather gear knob.
Talking about the features, it has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system which can be connected to Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Apart from this, digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, cruise control, automatic climate control, single-pan sunroof, 7-speaker Bose sound system make it even better.

A new voice recognition feature has also been given in the new i20 N line, which will make the driving experience of this car even better. Hyundai has also updated the BlueLink app for better over-the-air maps. Talking about safety features, features like 6 airbags, TPMS, rear-view parking camera, automatic headlamps, electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability management (VSC), hill assist control (HAC) have been provided.
Power and Engine Capacity:
In this car, the company has used a 1.0-liter capacity 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine that generates 120hp power and 172Nm torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed iMT and 7-speed dual clutch transmission gearbox. The dual clutch transmission gearbox now comes with a paddle shifter option.
What will be the price:
At present, the company has only showcased this car, it can be offered for sale in the market next month. The price of this car will be revealed at the time of launch itself. It is believed that its price will be slightly more expensive than the standard model.
