The pair of Bollywood actors Ishaan Khattar and Mrinal Thakur will be seen in the film Pippa. Ronnie Screwvala’s film production RSVP and Siddharth Roy Kapur’s film production Roy Kapur Films are bringing together India’s brave story ‘Pippa’ on the big screen. This film, based on the book ‘The Burning Chafees’ by Brigadier Balaram Singh Mehta, will be directed by Raja Krishna Menon, director of Airlift.

This war-drama film will feature Priyanshu Panuili, who was seen in the recent release webseries Mirzapur 2. In the film Pippa, Ishaan Khattar will be seen in the role of Brigadier Mehta, who was a part of the 45th Cavalry Tank Squadron and a veteran soldier who took the east side during the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

Creator Ronnie Screwvala said, ‘Pippa is a visually depicted story of the Mehta family that symbolizes the Indian victory in 1971, and our priority was to sign actors who play the role of members of this brave family. Get on well I am happy that talented actors like Mrinal Thakur and Priyanshu will be a part of this film which will portray a winning story with Ishaan that needs to be told.

Siddharth Roy Kapur said, ‘We were looking for talented artists who would support each other in maintaining a reliable family solidarity. Mrinal, Priyanshu and Soni Razdan are also joining the film with Ishaan, I am very happy that we have succeeded in casting the film.
