
Kia Motor India is going to discontinue the HTK Plus automatic variants of its popular cars Kia Sonet and Kia Seltos. According to a leaked document, Kia dealers will not accept bookings for the Sonet HTK + 1.0L petrol DTC, HTK + 1.5L diesel AT and Seltos HTK + 1.5L AT variants from April. These variants will be completely closed by mid-April. According to the report, the company has taken this decision after looking at the feedback and booking trends.

Let us tell you that the price of Kia Sonnet Sub-Compact SUV starts from Rs 6.79 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.19 lakh. Its HTK + petrol DCT variant costs Rs 10.49 lakh and HTK + diesel AT is priced at Rs 10.59 lakh. Similarly, the price of Kia Celtos SUV starts from Rs. 9.89 lakhs to Rs. 17.45 lakhs. At the same time, its HTK + AT variant costs Rs 13.79 lakh.

Features of Sonet HTK Plus
The HTK + petrol DTC variant of the car has a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine, which generates power of 118.36 bhp and 172nm torque. Similarly, a 1.5-liter diesel engine has been given in the HTK + diesel AT variant, which generates power of 113 bhp and 250nm of torque. The car has features such as multi-function steering wheel, power adjustable ORVMs, automatic climate control, power windows and touchscreen infotainment system.

The specialty of Seltos HTX Plus
A 1.5-liter diesel engine is available in this variant of the car. This variant of the car gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It has a Bose 8-speaker stereo system, 8-way driver adjustable seat and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The car competes with vehicles like the Renault Duster, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross and Hyundai Creta.
