The months of June and July have been very good for car makers. There has been an increase in the sales of vehicles as compared to May. Many new vehicles have also entered the market in July. We are going to see something similar in the month of August as well. In August, companies like Tata, Mahindra and Honda are going to launch new vehicles. So let’s know the list of those vehicles which are going to be launched in August.
1. Tata Tiago NRG facelift
The Tata Tiago NRG will be the sporty version of the company’s Tata Tiago. The launch of the car is going to happen on 4th August. In terms of exterior, many new elements will be seen in it compared to Tiago. The car will get new bumpers, body cladding, faux skid plates, roof rails, black roof, black trim on the boot lid and NRG badging. No mechanical changes will be made to the Tata Tiago NRG variant. It will get the same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine like the standard Tiago.

2. Honda Amaze facelift
Honda Amaze facelift can be launched in mid-August. Many changes can be seen in the facelift model. It may get redesigned bumpers, a different design for the fog lamps and redesigned alloy wheels. This sedan will get 1.2-litre petrol engine and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. The petrol engine generates 89 Bhp power with 110 Nm, while the diesel engine generates 99 Bhp power with 200 Nm.
3. Force Gurkha
The BS6 Force Gurkha was introduced at the Auto Expo 2020 and was scheduled to be launched last year. However this could not happen. The company had introduced a glimpse of this off-road SUV in June this year. The price of the car is expected to be announced this month. The new model comes with design elements such as a new single slat radiator grille, redesigned bumpers, side cladding, flared wheel arches and circular headlamps with LED DRLs. The SUV will come with features like a touchscreen, new instrument panel, AC, front power windows, dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, reverse parking sensors, etc.

4. Mahindra XUV700
There has been news about Mahindra XUV700 for the past several days. It is expected that like Thar, the company can also present this car on August 15, while the price will be announced on October 2. The XUV700 will be based on an all-new platform and will come with a host of segment-first features including an advanced driver assistance system. It can get 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and 2.2-litre diesel engine. It will be available with manual gearbox and automatic transmission options.
