Mahindra XUV 700 has made the customers crazy about it. This is the reason why this luxurious SUV has got 25 thousand bookings on the second day as well and that too in just two hours. Last time the XUV 700 got 25 thousand bookings in an hour (about 57 minutes). In such a situation, it can be said that this latest SUV of Mahindra has got 50 thousand bookings within 3 hours. The company tweeted that the ex-showroom value of these 50,000 XUV 700 SUVs is around Rs 9,500 crore.
On the first day, the company was selling XUV 700 at an initial price of Rs 11.99 lakh, but on the second day its initial price was reduced to Rs 12.49 lakh. Its introductory price is a big part of the massive bookings the XUV 700 has received.

This SUV of Mahindra comes in 5 and 7 seater variants. With this, the company is offering diesel and petrol engine options in it. You can buy the XUV 700 with either a manual or automatic transmission. If you are fond of off-roading, then you will also get the option of all wheel drive in it. This SUV of the company has been introduced in mHawk and Stallion engine option.
Powerful engine and great power
Talking about the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine, it comes with two tunes. The lower tuned variant is offered in the base variant of the SUV. This engine generates power of 155PS with 360Nm torque. The XUV 700’s highly tuned diesel engine makes 185PS of power with 420Nm of torque in the manual variant. At the same time, the torque of its automatic variant is 450Nm. In the 2-litre turbocharged mStallion petrol engine of the SUV, you will get 200PS of power with 380Nm.

Both the engines come mated to 6 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter automatic transmission. The company has launched XUV 700 in MX and AX variants. The MX variant has been kept for the entry level model. At the same time, many great and high-tech features have been given in the AX model. Some of the top-notch features on the SUV include 10.25-inch display, wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto, Alexa voice operation, panoramic sunroof, ADAS, side airbags.
