
The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch the next generation model of its famous hatchback car Maruti Celerio in the domestic market. Recently this car has been spotted during testing. Some things related to this car have been revealed after looking at its testing model.
Since the testing model of the new Celerio has been spotted from the side, a lot has not been known about the design of this car. But according to the testing model, the company has been given a new design tail lamp which is inspired by Maruti Baleno. Apart from this, it also has a curvy round tailgate.

The company is preparing this car on its famous Heartect platform. The company will change a lot in the interior of this car as well. According to the company, the new Heartect platform improves the safety of the car as well as increases its mileage. It is believed that this car will be given a longer wheelbase, which will also improve the space within the cabin. Especially the second row of the car means that there will be more space in the second row.
It will also have a newly designed LED projector headlamp and new alloy wheel with daytime running lights. The new design bump will make this car even more attractive. It is expected that the company can offer features such as SmartPlay Studio Touch Screen Infotainment System with mounted steering wheel, climate control, dual tone upholstery.
As far as the engine is concerned, there will be no change in it. In this car, the company will use the K10B petrol engine which generates 68bhp power and 90Nm torque. It will include a 5-speed manual transmission and automatic gearbox. Apart from this, it can also be launched with petrol and CNG kits. The new facelift model will be priced slightly higher than the current model, at the moment the starting price of this car is Rs 4,41,200.
