According to the report of Autocar, Maruti Suzuki stood first in the first 7 months (April to October) of FY 2022. Maruti Suzuki has a market share of 21 per cent in SUV and MPV sales. On the other hand, Hyundai stood second with 18.83 percent market share. However, in the case of best-selling SUV, Hyundai has overtaken the rest of the companies.
This SUV is selling fiercely for 7 months
Actually, Hyundai Creta has topped the list of SUVs and MPVs sold between April and October. A total of 70,176 units of Creta were sold in these 7 months. At the same time, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is at second position and Maruti Vitara Brezza at third place. They have sold 65,174 units and 62,189 units respectively. Tata Nexon with 61,010 units at number four and Kia Seltos SUV at number five with 56,585 units.

Features of Hyundai Creta
Hyundai Creta comes in three engine options. It gets engines of 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (115PS/144Nm), 1.5-litre diesel (115PS/250Nm), and 1.4-litre turbo-petrol (140PS/242Nm). Both the 1.5-litre engines are mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. The petrol engine gets the option of a CVT and the diesel engine a 6-speed torque converter. Whereas, only 7 speed DCT is available with 1.4 turbo petrol.

The Hyundai Creta SUV comes in a total of 6 trims: E, EX, S, SX Executive, SX, and SX(O). Its price starts from Rs 10.16 lakh and goes up to Rs 17.87 lakh. It gets features like LED headlamps and tail lamps, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, a power-adjustable driver seat, ventilated front seats, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech.
