Maruti Suzuki may soon launch its premium crossover car Maruti Suzuki S-Cross in a new avatar. Recently pictures of the new model have been leaked online. According to reports, the S-Cross will be launched in the market on November 25. From the pictures, it seems that this crossover can be given an elevated look like an SUV. The new generation Maruti Suzuki S-Cross may come with the advanced features required to compete in its segment. It will get a wider front grille and boomerang style front LED headlamps than before. Leaked images indicate that the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross gets 14-inch chrome alloy wheels, side indicators on the front bumper itself and slightly better ground clearance than the current model.

The interiors will also see changes to attract younger buyers. The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross may come with a digital touchscreen display for the infotainment. The safety features of the car are likely to be similar to the current S-Cross, with slight additions.

The new Maruti Suzuki S-Cross is expected to be powered by a 1.5-litre K15B mild-hybrid petrol engine. This engine generates 103bhp at 6,000rpm and 138Nm of peak torque at 4,400rpm. The same engine is in the current model as well. The engine will be mated to a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic gearbox.
