According to India Car News, the new Celerio is being produced on the Heartect platform. This is the same platform on which the Maruti Suzuki S-Preso is built. The specialty of this platform is that it is very light and strong, which makes the car’s handling much easier. With this, the new model will be much wider than the current model.

The interior of the new-generation Maruti Suzuki Celerio car will get a 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system, which supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. While the instrument cluster with the current model of the car will be used only. Along with this, the dashboard, steering wheel and center console of the car are also being updated. In this hatchback car, you can be given dual front airbag protection and seatbelt reminder standard. Apart from this, features such as electronic brake-force distribution, rear parking sensor and reverse camera can also be found with anti-brake braking system.

This may be the engine of the new Celerio
The new Celerio can offer BS6 compliant 1.0-liter triple cylinder K10B engine. Which is fully capable of generating maximum power of 67 bhp and peak torque of 90 Nm. This engine is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox and will be given a 5-speed AGS automatic transmission. However, the company has not given any information about this.
