
Mercedes-Benz has launched its new premium luxury sedan 2021 S-Class in India. The latest variant of the S-Class comes in two options – S400d 4MATIC and S450 4MATIC. The company has priced the S400d at Rs 2.17 crore and the S450 at Rs 2.19 crore. The 2021 Mercedes S-Class has already been launched with luxurious interiors, great styling and better dimensions.
Car has 20 inch alloy wheels
The new S-Class is 5 meters long and due to this, there is a lot of space inside the car to make the journey of passengers comfortable. The wheelbase of the car is 3216mm, length 5289mm, width 1954mm and height 1503mm. In appearance, this car looks very much like the previous variant. The alloy wheels given in the car are 20 inches and their design is also new.
Cosmetic changes for a fresh look
Mercedes has made some cosmetic changes to give a fresh look to the car. The new S-Class now gets a more sophisticated three slat grille design in place of the old twin slat grille design. In the car, you will get to see new style headlamps with integrated DRL. The new bumper given in the car has chrome lining which makes the road presence of the car quite spectacular.
12.8-inch vertically mounted OLED touchscreen in dashboard
Talking about the interior of the car, you will get to see a redesigned dashboard in it. For infotainment, a 12.8-inch vertically mounted OLED touchscreen has been given in the dashboard. Apart from this, the car will get a 12.3-inch digital MID i.e. multi-information display like the previous variant, which gives information related to the car and engine.

Ventilated seat with massage function
The rear seat of the car is ventilated and the company is also offering massage function in it. Apart from this, you will also get a tabled doctor center arm rest on the back seat. Equipped with ambient lighting system, this car has been given Burmester 4D surround system for a strong music experience.
Both the engine variants give great power
The company has launched the S-Class 2021 in two engine options – 3.0 liter 6 cylinder diesel and 3.0 liter 6 cylinder petrol. The car’s diesel engine gives power of 330bhp between 3600 to 4200 rpm. At the same time, its peak torque of 700Nm comes between 1200 to 3200rpm. If we talk about the petrol engine of S-Class 2021, then it generates power of 367bhp between 5500 to 6100 rpm. Apart from this, the car engine offers a peak torque of 500Nm between 1600 to 4500rpm.

0-100kmph in 5.1 seconds
Both the engines of the S-Class 2021 come mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Talking about speed and pickup, the diesel variant of the car reaches the speed of 0-100kmph in 5.4 seconds. At the same time, its petrol engine takes only 5.1 seconds to do 0-100kmph.
