Panesar has written, ‘What if the buyer says that the contract cannot be completed because the quality of the crop is not as it was said, in such a situation what protection does the farmer have? There is no option to fix the price. Panesar said in another tweet, ‘Farmers are opposing the three agricultural laws of the Center. He says that this law abolishes the minimum support price system and leaves them to the ‘Rahmo-Karam’ of big corporates. In his tweet, he has also tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Panesar further said, “These three bills related to agriculture, which are to be enacted after passing in Parliament. This law removes trade restrictions and price controls on all cereals, pulses, oil seeds and onions, which will only benefit middlemen and traders. ‘ He further wrote, ‘Farmers want the government to either remove these three laws or guarantee them the minimum support price through the new law. That’s why thousands of farmers are marching towards Delhi.
