Germany’s luxury car maker company Audi is going to launch a facelift version of its sedan car on New Year. The company has announced that the Audi A4 facelift will be launched on 5 January. Apart from changes to the exterior and interior of the car, it will also get a 190hp turbo-petrol engine. So let’s know more details of the new car-
What will be special in the new car?
The company discontinued the old model of Audi A4 after the introduction of BS6 regulations. Audi is now going to change the design of the car. It will be wider than before and will get a single frame grille, new headlamps with DRL, new front and rear bumpers, and reshaped tail lamps. The interior of the car will be largely the same as the old one, though a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system can be found in it.

Physical controls will be provided for climate control in the new Audi A4. While a second display has been given for it in Audi A6 and A8. Another major change will be seen in its engine. The car will be given a new 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, which will replace the 1.4-liter turbo petrol engine. The new 190hp power generating engine will come with a 7-speed dual clutch auto gearbox. A diesel engine option will not be available in the car.

The price of the car will be announced on 5 January. It will come in two variants – Premium Plus and Technology. Booking of facelift model has started in India. Customers can book it on Audi India website by giving an amount of Rs 2 lakh. The car’s top model will get features such as a digital cockpit named Digital Instrument Cluster, all-LED headlamps, multi-zone climate control, and ambient lighting.
