Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has unveiled the BS6 model of the CB300R at India Bike Week 2021. The updated CB300R will be locally assembled and will be launched in the Indian market in January 2022. It will be retailed through the brand’s premium dealership network. Apart from this, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has also launched the anniversary edition of the Honda H’Ness CB350.

The company also plans to expand its BigWing network from 88 to 100 outlets by March 2022. The CB300R engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It will get a 286cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, engine that will generate power of 30.4 PS at 8000 rpm. The CB300R BS4 model price in India is Rs 2.41 Lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with the KTM 390 Duke, which costs between Rs 2.58 lakh and Rs 2.89 lakh.

Harley-Davidson Sportster S Bike Launch

Harley-Davidson has also recently launched its new bike Harley-Davidson Sportster S in India. The company has priced it at Rs 15.51 lakh (ex-showroom). With technology like liquid-cooling, dual overhead camshafts and variable valve timing, the Sportster S is one of the most advanced cruiser bikes from the company.

The company is already selling this bike in the international market. The biggest feature of this bike is its 1250 cc liquid cooled, V-twin engine. The same engine is also given in the company’s Pan America 1250 Adventure Touring Motorcycle. The engine generates power of 119.3bbhp and peak torque of 127.4Nm. This advanced engine is also equipped with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch.

Talking about the features, it has a 4.0 inch TFT screen. With this, the smartphone can be connected via Bluetooth and the convenience of navigation can also be taken advantage of. It also gets features like all-LED lighting, cruise control and tire pressure monitoring system. The bike gets four riding modes – Road, Sports, Rain and Custom. It gets Corning Enhanced Anti-Lock Braking System (C-ABS) which takes into account the lean angle of the motorcycle.
