
The new Maruti Suzuki Celerio has been awaited for a long time. The company can soon launch it in the Indian market. Meanwhile, pre-bookings for the new hatchback have also started at some dealerships. According to the report of CarandBike, a token amount ranging from Rs 5 thousand to Rs 11 thousand is being taken from customers according to different cities. However, this is a refundable amount. Some dealers said that the new Maruti Celerio was to be launched around July, however due to the second wave of Corona, the launch has been postponed till September 2021.
This will be the design of the car
Maruti Suzuki has been working on the new-gen Celerio for quite some time now. Many different pictures of it have been leaked. If reports are to be believed, the new-generation model will be bigger, and will get a host of new features along with design and styling updates. The car is expected to see new features like LED daytime running lamps, alloy wheels, LED taillamps, and more.

Will be feature loaded interior
Talking about the interiors, it can get a new center console, new upholstery and Maruti Suzuki’s SmartPlay infotainment unit that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Apart from this, features like multi-functional steering wheel, multi-information display, electrically adjustable ORVMs, keyless entry, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors can be found.

engine and power
The same 1.0-litre three-cylinder K10B petrol engine can be found in the new generation Maruti Celerio hatchback. It makes 66 bhp and 90 Nm torque. It could get a 5-speed manual and an optional 5-speed AMT gearbox. Apart from this, CNG variants are also likely to be available. The car is said to get a 1.2-litre petrol engine from the Wagon R, which makes 82 bhp and 113 Nm of torque.
