Maruti Suzuki may launch a new-generation model of its sub-compact SUV Vitara Bezra next year. Ahead of the launch, pictures of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza have been leaked online. In the pictures, the details of the car’s exterior to interior and other features have been revealed. Let us know what new will be seen in the new Brezza.

This will be the exterior and interior
The exterior design of the new-generation Vitara Brezza has been changed a lot. It now has a dual-pod projector headlamp setup, which will also have integrated LED DRLs. Two U-shaped chrome inserts will be given in its single slate grille. Along with this, there will be a new dual-tone front bumper, fog lights, and black body cladding. The side profile will get new diamond-cut alloy wheels, new roof rails, blacked-out A, B and C-pillars.

At the rear, it gets spoiler with rear wiper and washer, new wrap-around LED taillights, dual-tone rear bumper and a high-mounted stop lamp. Many major changes will be seen in the interior as well. The most important feature additions include a sunroof, cruise control, paddle shifters, Suzuki Connect telematics technology and a large freestanding touchscreen infotainment system. It will also get revised instrument console, leather wrapped steering wheel, steering-mounted controls, new dashboard and new AC vents.

engine and power
Talking about the engine, the new Vitara Brezza is likely to be given the same 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. In the current model, it generates maximum power of 103bhp and peak torque of 138Nm. The engine can be mated to a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque converter automatic. Apart from this, the SUV will also have SHVS mild-hybrid technology.
