Nissan India has once again increased the price of its popular sub-compact SUV Nissan Magnite. Its price has been increased from Rs 6 thousand to Rs 17 thousand, which will vary according to the variant. The car was launched in December 2020. This is the second time since its launch that the price of the SUV is being increased. The increased prices have come into effect from October 2021 itself. The company recently revealed that the SUV has crossed over 65 thousand bookings.
New price of Nissan Magnite
Nissan India has increased the price of the lower variants of the car from Rs 10,000 to Rs 13,000, while the higher-spec trims have become costlier by Rs 15,000. The top-spec XV Premium and XV Premium dual tone variants of the SUV have received a price hike of Rs 17,000. The 1.0-litre petrol engine is available in four trims – XE, XL, XV and XV Premium. Similarly, the 1.0-litre turbo petrol is available in three variants – XL Turbo, XV Turbo, and XV Premium Turbo.

Nissan Magnite Engine & Features
Two engine options are given in Nissan Magnite. The first engine is a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that generates 99bhp power and 160Nm torque. This engine is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. Apart from this, this SUV is also available with a 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates 71bhp power and 96Nm torque. The second engine comes in 5-speed manual and CVT gearbox options.

The company has also given some class leading features in this SUV, which make it better than other models. The SUV features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Auto AC with rear AC vents. Exterior features 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and LED headlamps with LED DRLs. Top models of the car include a wireless charger, air purifier, JBL speaker, LED scuff plate, ambient lighting and puddle lamps. However, it does not get a sunroof.
