Ola Electric scooter is going to be launched in the Indian market on 15th August. The company’s CEO Bhavish Agarwal is disclosing the features of the scooter one by one. Now in a recent tweet, he revealed another special feature going to be found in the scooter. Actually this scooter is going to get reverse mode. This simply means that the scooter can also be driven in reverse mode.

The company has posted a video in its tweet, in which the Ola electric scooter is shown speeding backwards. The caption of the video reads, ‘You can reverse Ola scooter at unbelievable speed. Plus you can also book an Ola scooter at an incredible price of ₹499!’ This type of feature is not seen in the rest of the electric scooters of the segment.

The company has already confirmed that the Ola electric scooter is going to get the largest boot space, app-based keyless access and a segment-leading range. According to media reports, this scooter will cover 150 km on full charge. It will be able to travel up to and its top speed can be 100 kmph. The scooter will charge from 0 to 50% in just 18 minutes.

This electric scooter will be offered in ten color options including Yellow, Purple, Grey, and Dark Blue. It will get features like dual projector headlamps, split-type rear grab handles, a hook for carrying luggage, single-piece seat, external charging port, a black colored floor mat and a fully digital instrument cluster. The scooter can be booked for Rs 499.
