Green Sticker: This green sticker will be used on vehicles that are involved in the transportation of essential commodities such as food, vegetables, fruits, groceries and dairy products for everyday needs. Yellow Sticker: This sticker, which looks like yellow or orange color, will be used by the officials and government employees. According to the information, vehicles used by the officials of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation or BMC, employees of the essential services, Department of Electricity and Telecommunications or people associated with the media will use this sticker.
Strict action will be taken against misuse of stickers:
Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale told the media that these stickers can be used only by those who will be nominated or released. Apart from this, if any other person is found misusing these stickers, strict action will be taken against them. Even a case can be registered against the accused.
The aim is to curb unnecessary travel: Maharashtra is witnessing a record increase in the number of new COVID-19 cases. Recently, in view of the increasing cases of corona in Mumbai, the state government implemented the night curfew, weekend lockdown and now mini lockdown, but despite this the corona is not taking the name of the pace of infection.
