Royal Enfield has created a new record by selling 120 units of its 650 Twins Anniversary Edition in India in just 120 seconds. The motorcycle major had launched the Royal Enfield 650 Twin Anniversary Edition model at EICMA 2021 in Milan.
Royal Enfield had also revealed that only 480 units of this special edition motorcycle will be available globally. Out of which it will sell 120 utins in the Indian market, which the company claims to sell in record time. The Royal Enfield 650 Twin Anniversary Edition motorcycle was made available to the customers on 6th December on a first-come-first-served basis.

What is special in the anniversary edition
To make the 120th Anniversary Edition special, the bikes have been designed and handcrafted by the company’s UK and Indian team. The bike has a unique, rich black chrome tank. This tank has been developed at Royal Enfield’s manufacturing plant in Chennai. Along with the tank, for the first time, both the bikes get completely blacked out parts and the engine, silencer and other elements in black color.

The motorcycles also come with accessories like flyscreen, engine guard, heel guard, touring and bar & mirrors. It also gets handcrafted tank badging. To make each motorcycle unique, the tank top badge will also carry the unique serial number of the motorcycle.
Talking about the engine of Royal Enfield 650 Twin Limited Edition, there will be no change in it. It will get the same 648 cc parallel-twin engine as before, which is capable of generating 47 Bhp and 52 Nm of peak torque. It has been given a 6-speed gearbox.
