The country’s leading performance bike manufacturer, Royal Enfield, recently launched a new avatar of its famous bike Himalayan in the domestic market. As soon as this adventure tourer bike comes on the market, it is getting great response from customers. The starting price of this bike has been fixed at Rs 2.36 lakh. The company has also started the delivery of this bike after launch, according to the information received, the company has delivered 100 bikes in just 1 day in the state of Kerala.

The delivery of so many bikes as an adventure tourer bike in the Indian market in a small state like Kerala indicates the success of this bike. According to the information received by the company, Himalayan is quite famous in Kerala and the new updates such as tripper navigation pod etc. make it even more popular.

The company has introduced this bike in three different shades in the market. Due to the new features updates, the new Himalayan has become more expensive by about Rs 10,000 than the previous model. The price of this bike varies according to different colors. Mirage Silver and Gravel Gray color bikes cost Rs 2.36 lakh, Lake Blue and Rock Red shades cost Rs 2.40 lakh. Pine Green and Granite Black color variants are priced at Rs 2.44 lakh.

Royal Enfield has also launched a new program ‘Make it Yours’ (MiY) for this bike. Under which customers can also personalize the bike as per their choice through the company’s official website, dealership and mobile app. The biggest change in this bike is that the company has used the tripper navigation system in it, which is also available in the Meteor 350.

It used the 411cc capacity single cylinder oil cooled engine as before, which generates power of 24.3bhp and torque of 32Nm. This engine comes with a 5 speed gearbox. This bike is the same in terms of engine and mechanism, but the company has made some changes in its design and features.
