The Samsung Galaxy M62 has been launched on the FCC listing with the model number SM-M62F / DS. Apart from the 7000mAh battery, a 25 Watt fast charger can be provided with the phone. USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack can be provided for connectivity in the phone. The model number SM-E625F / DS is also seen in this listing. This model can be of Samsung Galaxy E62 handset. This indicates that the phone can be launched under different names in different markets. In this model number DS means dual-sim support. The FCC listing has also revealed the availability of 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi and NFC support in the Galaxy M62.

There are reports about the Samsung Galaxy M62 that it will be an upgraded variant of the current Samsung Galaxy M51. The phone was revealed to have 256 GB inbuilt storage from the previous leak but at the moment there is no information about any other storage variant. It is possible that in addition to this premium variant, the company may also make the handset available in low-storage.
The Galaxy M51 also has a 7000mAh battery, so the upcoming M62 should be its upgraded variant. The Galaxy M62 was expected to be launched by the South Korean company last week, but it did not. The company recently unveiled the Galaxy S21 series at the Global Unpacked event.
