Samsung is about to launch a new service soon, with the help of which you will be able to send text messages (SMS) from your laptop too. Samsung is about to launch an app for this service, which will work on select Samsung Windows 10 PCs. With the help of this app, users will be able to link Samsung smartphones to their computers.
Third party screen mirroring app will not be needed
After the app is launched, the user will not need any third party screen mirroring app to send and receive SMS or MMS from the computer. The laptop only needs 5G or 4G LTE connectivity for this service to work.

Samsung has not yet officially announced its new service, but this app has been seen in the ‘Utilities and Tools’ section of the Microsoft Store. A Twitter user has also shared a photo of it. This Samsung app cannot be downloaded right now and so details of how it works are not available yet.

According to Microsoft Store listing, Samsung’s messaging app will work on Galaxy TabPro S, Galaxy Book 10.6 LTE, Galaxy Book 12 LTE, Galaxy Book 2 and Galaxy Flex 2 5G. Whether or not the company will launch this service for other computers, nothing can be said for sure.
