The country’s leading cab service provider Ola recently launched its first electric scooter Ola S1 in the Indian market. Equipped with advanced features with attractive look and price, people have taken this scooter in hand. In a very short span of time, this scooter has registered great bookings. Now the company’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has shared a video of the making of this scooter.
Ola Electric has announced that the women workers on the shopfloor at Ola Futurefactory are ramping up the production of the Ola S1 scooter ahead of delivery. Bhavish Aggarwal said in his tweet, posting a video of the manufacturing of the scooter, saying, “Scooter production is at its peak. Women in our FutureFactory are rapidly increasing production!”
Recently, Ola CEO Agarwal announced the launch of the company’s first hypercharger. During this, he also shared pictures of Ola S1 electric scooter being charged in Ola Electric’s first hypercharger on Twitter. The company aims to install over 1 lakh charging points under its Hypercharger network in 400 cities in India. Ola claims that the charging points will provide a range of 75 km with 18 minutes of charging.
Recently, the company started booking this scooter at the time of its launch, and in the first phase, the scooters have got a great response. Now the company will start booking this scooter again from November 1. You can book this scooter for just Rs 499 and it is a refundable amount.
The price of Ola S1 has been fixed at just Rs 85,099 and the price of S1 Pro variant has been fixed at Rs 1.10 lakh. This price is as per Delhi and includes the subsidy given by the state. The company has given an artificial sound system in this scooter, so that you can change the sound of the scooter according to your mood. In this scooter, the company has given 4G connectivity system, so that it remains connected to the internet all the time.
Battery and Driving Range:
In the Ola electric scooter, the company has given a battery pack of 3.9 kWh capacity and its electric motor generates 8.5 kW of peak power. The company claims that its battery will be fully charged in about 6 hours with a portable charger of 750W capacity. Apart from this, this battery can be charged up to 50% in just 18 minutes with the company’s supercharger.
The company claims that this electric scooter gives a driving range of 180 to 190 km once fully charged. Not only this, this scooter is capable of catching a speed of 0 to 60 kilometers per hour in just 3 seconds. Its top speed is 115 kilometers per hour. It has three different driving modes, which include Normal, Sport and Hyper.
