
Czech Republic carmaker Skoda is going to launch its new sedan car Skoda Slavia in India on 18 November. The company has brought two new cars – Skoda Octavia and Skoda Kushak SUV this year. The company is revealing the features and looks of the new car one by one. On Tuesday, Skoda revealed the interior design of the upcoming Skoda Slavia. Earlier, last week also, the company had given a glimpse of the exterior design of the car.
The new sedan will replace the Skoda Rapid. It looks sportier than the Rapid. Talking about the interiors, it can be seen in round shaped air vents, large touchscreen display, steering wheel mounted controls and Skoda badging on the bezel. The size of its touchscreen display will be 25.4 centimeters (10 inches). The digital instrument cluster and two-spoke multifunction steering wheel can be clearly seen in the sedan.

This will be the exterior of the car
The company is going to offer a completely new design language in this car. In Slavia, you will get to see the low front end inspired by Octavia. Large hexagonal grille has been given in the car. Apart from this, excellent headlamps have been given in the car with L-shape DRLs. You will get to see dual tone, five-spoke allot wheels in the car. The company’s C shape tail-lights have been given in the back side of the car, which go up to the boot.

engine and power
The Skoda Slavia is likely to get the same engine as the company’s Kushak, which will be slightly tuned according to the sedan. The first engine will be the 1.0-litre TSI petrol, which generates a maximum power of 114 hp and peak torque of 178 Nm. It will be mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The second engine will be the 1.5-litre TSI petrol, which generates 148hp power and 250 Nm peak torque. It will be mated to a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG transmission.
