Former England spinner Monty Panesar has supported farmers opposing agricultural laws in India. He is constantly tweeting on social media and attacking the Narendra Modi government. Although Panesar is being opposed on social media.

Panesar is accusing the Indian government of being anti-farmer and for the sake of corporate interests. Panesar has been consistently opposing these new agricultural laws on Twitter. He has supported the peasant movement in several tweets and said that the government is working to benefit big corporates through new agricultural laws.

Meanwhile, some people advised him on social media to keep his focus on England and not to interfere in India’s affairs.

One user even wrote that Indians do not want any British citizen to speak about their affairs.
