There will be no major changes in the CNG version. The Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG are expected to come in lower and mid-level variants of the regular variants. However, information about the new models has not been revealed yet.
The current model is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine that produces 86bhp and 113Nm of torque. The CNG version will get a manual gearbox as standard. The new CNG badges can be seen on the front fender and rear profile of the CNG variant.

The Tata Tiago CNG variant will compete with the Hyundai Santro CNG and the Maruti Wagon R CNG. At the same time, the Tigor CNG will compete with the Hyundai Aura CNG. Maruti is also working on a CNG variant of the Dzire sub-compact sedan, which will take on the Aura CNG and Tigor CNG once they are launched.
The prices of Tata Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG are likely to be around Rs. 50000-60000 higher than the standard model. The Tata Tigor will be the only model to offer CNG, petrol and electric derivatives in the market.
