Tata Motors is working on an updated version of the Nexon Electric. According to the report, its launch can be done in mid-2022. The new Nexon EV will offer a bigger battery and better range. It is believed that a big 40kWh battery will be given in it. The report claims that the feedback received from existing Tata Nexon EV customers shows that electric vehicles are becoming increasingly popular. Hence, the customers feel the need for a longer range.
Will get a range of 400KM
According to media reports, big battery packs of 40kWh capacity will be given in 2022 Tata Nexon Electric. This is 30 percent more than the current 30.2kWh battery pack. For this, the company will have to make changes in the floor pan of the vehicle and also cut the boot space for the bigger battery. Also, the bigger battery is likely to increase the weight of the Nexon EV by around 100kg.
