The Indian cricket team beat Australia in the Test series on its soil and made history. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed happiness over this victory. He mentioned this in the radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday.
PM Modi said, ‘This month, the cricket pitch also received very good news. Our cricket team made a great comeback after their initial woes and won the series in Australia. The hard work and teamwork of our players is motivating.

Captain Virat Kohli of Team India also responded to this. He posted a tricolor on PMO retweeting his tweet.
The four-match Test series between India and host Australia was won by the visiting team 2–1. In the fourth and final Test match of the series, many of India’s star players were unconcerned, yet they won the match by 3 wickets and also retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Ajinkya Rahane captained Team India in three Tests of the series and won two. Virat Kohli returned home after playing the opening Test on Paternity Leave.
