
If your driving license and vehicle registration have expired and you have not been able to renew it yet, then there is good news for you. In fact, the Central Government has extended the validity of motor vehicle documents such as driving license (DL), certificate of registration (RC) and permit till June 30, 2021, in view of the increasing cases of Coronavirus Pandemic.

Government made these orders of the states
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) is advising the states that fitness, permits, driving licenses, registrations and other documents which expired on 1 February 2020 are now valid till 30 June 2021. The ministry also said that this is the last advisory related to it and the state governments should implement this advisory so that the public does not face any kind of trouble.
Deadline has increased even before this
Earlier, on 30 March 2020, 9 June 2020, 21 August 2020 and 27 December 2020, the government increased the validity of documents associated with the Motor Vehicles Act 1988 and the Central Motor Vehicle Rules 1989.

Because of this, the government decided to increase the deadline
Explain that the government has taken this decision to stop the corona epidemic from spreading. Because at this time many cases of driving license, vehicle registration and fitness certificate are pending in RTO office of all cities in the country. In such a situation, the Ministry of Highways understood the problems of the people. Validity of important vehicle documents such as driving license, vehicle registration and fitness certificate has been extended till 30 June 2021.
