
Mahindra XUV700 has become the latest made-in-India car to get a 5-star rating in crash tests. Mahindra XUV700 has got 5 Star Global NCAP Rating (New Car Assessment Program). Mahindra XUV700 has achieved 5 star score for adult occupant protection. At the same time, this SUV has got a 4 star rating for child occupant protection. It has become the second SUV from Mahindra to get a 5 star rating in the Global NCAP crash test, before the Mahindra XUV300 got a 5 star safety rating.
The SUV achieved a combined safety score of 57.69
Mahindra XUV700 has got a Combined Safety Score (Adult + Child) of 57.69 out of a total of 66. Mahindra XUV700 has achieved an adult score of 16.03 out of 17.00. At the same time, its child safety score is 41.66 out of 49.00. The official global NCAp test of Mahindra XUV700 took place in Germany in October 2021. The Mahindra XUV700 used in the testing was equipped with basic safety specifications.

5th Indian car to get 5 star rating
Mahindra XUV700 is the 5th Indian car to get a 5 star rating in the Global NCAP crash test. Firstly, the Tata Nexon got a 5 star score in this safety testing. Apart from this, the Tata Punch, Tata Altroz and Mahindra XUV300 have received 5 star crash test ratings. Tata Punch got 57.34 points out of 66 points. Mahindra XUV300 has got 53.86 points out of 66.
