He has tweeted saying that complete specifications and details of the scooter along with the availability dates will also be shared soon. Last month, the pre-bookings for Ola Electric started and the upcoming scooter received around 1 lakh bookings within the first 24 hours of launch. Booking of Ola Electric Scooter was being done from July 15 for just Rs 499. The company had opened the bookings for its electric scooter from the evening of July 15. The school is coming in 10 colors including shades of gray and red-yellow apart from black, white.

Ola says that the electric scooter will be class-leading in terms of speed, range, boot space as well as technology. Along with this, the company also says that the price of this scooter will give competition to the price of the scooter in the market. Along with this the scooter will be made in India for the world. It will be manufactured at the company’s two-wheeler factory in Tamil Nadu. Ola Electric plans to build 1 lakh charging stations in partnership in 400 cities with an investment of $2 billion over the next 5 years. The lack of a charging station is the biggest obstacle in the electric vehicle market.
